Fernando, the founder of SiO2 Systems
After more than 25 years working in technology, I am a professional who has walked practically every path in the world of information and communications technologies.
I began developing systems at the USC and then spent two and a half decades at a telecommunications operator focused on services for businesses. My career has been like a journey: from operations technician to enterprise presales engineer, passing through developer and IT project manager.
I have seen technology transform and I have transformed with it. Each role has taught me something new: how systems work, how to solve complex problems for clients, and how to turn technical challenges into concrete solutions.
I’m not satisfied with what I learned from my engineering degree and master’s programs. That’s why I hold certifications in Microsoft, Python, Fortinet, Google Analytics, Machine Learning (the most promising branch of Artificial Intelligence), and ITIL, among others. I am also constantly exploring new solutions that allow professionals and companies to do more with fewer resources.
My goal is simple: to create technological solutions that truly help professionals and companies do their work better and grow.
